I really need some guidance |
Lead | |
|
I was married, had a couple children and my wife and I divorced. After the divorce I dated a woman and had a child with her. I decided to go back to my ex-wife and we got remarried and had a few more children. What do I need to do to make it right with God and the church so that I can become a true member of the ACCA? I still have that child out there that no one knows about.

Hello Notsure: I am not ACCA but I will try to give you some answers.
Before you are concerned with becoming a true member of the ACCA or any other organized religious denomination, you need to get your priorities straight. The most important thing is that you are right with God. You must repent of your sins. Repentence includes making restitution of past sins. If you have a child out there, it is your responsibility in the eyes of God and the eyes of everyone else to properly own up to it, be a father to the child in all ways that the child and the childs mother wants you to and that the law requires you to. I am sure you love this child and you feel really terrible about the situation. In the eyes of God you have parental responsibilities. Make those things right and then you will be at peace with God and yourself. There may very well be some unpleasant circumstances arise as a result but if your current wife is a Christian she will forgive and support you in doing what is right. If the Church fails to forgive you and welcome you after you have repented and done all you can to make it right, then you don't want to be a member of that congregation anyway. I will pray for you. I hope you will pray for me also. We have all sinned and come short of the Glory of God. That is why Jesus came and paid the price for us. As He told others that He forgave, go and sin no more. I am sure that if your life shows proper Christian fruit, the Church will welcome you with open arms. Blessings to you David |

Good morning, Notsure.
I am a member of the Apostolic Christian Church and want to let you know that this is not an official ACC website. I highly recommend that you go to either www.accfoundation.org (ACC Nazarean) or www.apostolicchristian.org (ACC of America) You will probably get a faster response if you do. If you need any help finding an ACC in your area, please e-mail me at interestedsis@comcast.net The Lord give you courage and strength to pursue this to His end. |

Sorry, notsure.
I hadn't realized that you had specified ACCA in your post. Disregard the ACCFoundation.com website. You want www.apostolicchristian.org. |

Dear brother : I am not sure from your post whether you are looking for forgiveness and acceptance from the Lord of Glory or from the ACCA. Please ignore all leading that trys to direct you into the rules, regulations, and control of some religious organization.
Cry out to God! beg the Lord to forgive you and to direct you in all your efforts to ammend your past sins. Search His Word, Beg His Pardon, Give your life to Him. All other ground is sinking sand. There is no religious organization that can give you peace in your heart. Seek the Lord while He may be found! Call upon Him while He is near! If there is wickedness in yourself, forsake it and call upon Jesus and He will lead you out of your depression and into forgiveness, joy, peace, and freedom. Just do the right thing. Forget these religious organizations until you have peace with God, then He will lead you into the area of worship that He wants you in. Shalom dear soul David |
