Hi Lisa: If you have a Strongs Concordance, look up the words disease, diseased, and diseases for scripture references. If you don't have a concordance, let me know, and I will give you all the citations.

Satan has no power but what is allowed by God. God allowed satan to inflict disease upon Job, but that is no indication that all diseases are a result of God allowing satan to do it.

Most references to diseases speak of God healing our diseases, not inflicting them upon us or allowing satan to do so. I believe that diseases came along with the curse after the fall of Adam and Eve but I can't recall any specific scriptural support for that.

The scriptures do say, that it is "appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement" Heb.9:27. Death comes in various ways but one of them is diseases.
