I was so glad to come across this site and find I could register and post even though I'm not a member of your Church. I need your help!
My spouse and I are attending a dear friend's (the groom) wedding next month. From reading the other postings, it seems I should be able to purchase head covering when I arrive. I had already known that a skirt would be required attire. Are there other general guidelines for apparel across congregations? Would it be best to talk to someone from the congregation (such as the groom's mother) about appropriate dress for their specific congregation?
Also, we have a 2 year old girl. Would it be better to find a sitter for her than to take her to the Church? Is there a way to secure head covering for a toddler (so that she doesn't play with it, or is that okay for a child)?
Finally, what is the tradition for gift giving in the Apostolic Christian Church?
